WOW-That's great!! I hope we get to see a Candy Red at Colorado or Woodward next year. There wasn't even one Mullholland (is that spelled correctly?) Blue at Woodward this year and I have yet to see one of those. The new RED should look sharp in person. Have fun with your newest CAT. Marty ------------------ Driving my Dream |

Bobkat Are you bringing them all to Colorado on a transporter for the Rocky Mountain Event? Each day whichever color is missing that's the one you drive. ------------------ |

First of all thanks for all the encouragement. We have been working on this with DC and our dealer Fury Motors 651-451-1313, since SEMA and it worked out. Next, I did not want to hope for the last one mainly because I didnt know how many would be built or if the Candy Red was the last color for sure. I also was told that the "powers that be" had plans for the owner of the last one, or at least where it would end up and it wasnt to any of us or to a dealer. I was given the tub # for the first Candy Red but decided not to try for that car since it had to go to car shows and be handled more, we opted for the 1st production red and the documentation for it. It will remain untitled on the origin sheet and will be run but not driven, we have enough others to drive, this one is a little more special, not an investment to me just special!! We plan on bringing some to Colorado, If I can find the right trailer for behind the Peterbilt I may bring 8 of the most unique. 97 Purple, Woodward, Inca, Mulholland, Blk Tie, Candy Red, go cart from Ray, and the yellow or black as a driver. We'll see.... I am just really happy to know all of you and have been fortunate enough to build this collection of the coolest car I have ever seen, as I was interviewed today by the Detroit news media, I tried to praise DC for their courage in building this car, but I will miss it. I have given Mike Krehel's name to the people who helped me out to see if I can help get him the last one, lets hope!! ------------------ |

Bobkat ... Glad to hear the "go kart" made your list of "special Kats" and that it might be seen in Colorado (seller's remorse setting in here .... ) But "take a yellow along as a 'driver'" ARRRGHHHH ... don't help drive down the price of the coolest color Kat built by refering to it in a different context than the other "unique" Kats you have ... Little tongue in cheek |

Bobkat ... Thanks much, shoulda gave you the Shriner "fez" to go along with the mini-me Kat. If you have a lead on another Candy Red at sticker or better ... pass along, am interested and might make room in the garage if a deal is to be had (I know, still 9 shy of you and a boat load shy of Krehel, but ... for a workin stiff ... not too bad) |
