thanks for the welcome back guys! I left the dogs in LA with Ophie, for safe keeping while I tried to make Texas work... just not enough $ there for me. So, back to LA to make some money. Things are starting to happen here though which is good. Not going to make the 22nd but maybe the next run!

Hope you make it do Denver in June, Todd. LA is Car City and we understand the attraction. I learned to drive there in 1956. In 1957 I raced my mother's Buick Super (advertised 300 hp not counting the lakes plugs I added) against whoever was around on the 2 mile section of freeway between Glendale and Pasadena. It was one of the first pieces of freeway they built, and at the time no one was around at night. My own was a 54 Olds 98 convertible; I didn't drag with it because it was too heavy (73 mph quarter) and the ground clearance was only about 4".
