"Allow me to take a moment to explain what "lol" actually means. "lol" can mean one of three things: 1) "i note your pitful attempt at humor and scoff at it. but i'll just play along" 2) "that was mildly amusing," 3) "i have nothing to say to you, so i'll just write 'lol' to look like i'm not ignoring you and i'm enjoying this miserable conversation." Its should be noted however, that "LOL" with all caps actually means the person laughed out loud. Hope that clears everything up." ------------------ |
