I'm curious to hear about all those idiots out there that mess with our prowlers when we leave them in the parking lot.

Trying to convince myself to get an alarm. Does anyone know about the extra motion detectors that Chrysler offers for their convertibles.?

PO/01 - The worst story I heard was the top slashed with a knife while parked at a hotel overnite.

If I caught someone doing that, I'd bust or chew all their fingers off,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,just for the start

Not long ago (2 months or so) my wife and I were shopping in a large mall in Tracy Ca. parked way out alone in the far side upon returning to the cat found the whole car sprayed with what looked like silly string it stuck to the paint but brushed off, but left a spot of glue like on the paint and glass everywhere, after many cleanings I am still finding spots, I was very unhappy and still am.
Later the same day a couple walked by as we were not standing by the car but could hear, the man said "I dont care its butt ugly" I just grined and thought if he only knew.
Thanks for asking it feels good to share this story.

Al,
There are some posts on the Technical Questions & Answers section regarding aftermarket alarm systems..DEI makes a Hornet system that I have ordered but not received...it has an optional motion detector.
