Who else is on this sinking ship?

I am, but since I just got connected and the first two months are free, I kept my 56K dial up and I'm sure glad I did.

Another option for all of you is 2-way satellite internet connections. Faster than dial-up, don't need to be in a cable or DSL service area. We've had the service for awhile and the speed in great!!!!!
Just another option worth checking on.

Well service went down yesterday and they say could be 1-3 weeks b4 it's back up. A friend gave us an AOL free trial disc and after 4 hours of redoing connections and all we're connected. I hate the dial up connection compared to cable so probably won't be online much until it's back on. This is just to slow. May have to check out satellites.
