Fredd, I was thinking of getting a flamed bra similar to Laddie's but wasn't quite sure how it would look. The two-tone Woodward does have a bit of a classy look so it may be tough to get the flames to look like they belong.

Black flames on the sides only would be the easiest.

We could always use Photoshop to modify a flamed red car to see how it looks.

If I were going to put flames on a Woodward or a Black Tie I would go the vinyl flames route. I do think it would look good. Sasy Mama put vinyl flames on a Black Tie and it really looked good. JMO. There should still be pictues somewhere on the board archives.

For a year after we got our black Kat I wouldn't have considered flames. Even as a street rod freak over the years I though they would just cobble up the looks of a great car. But they are an old tradition worth considering. Flames state an attitude, a feeling, an image of what it feels like to drive a Prowler or any true street rod. Vinyl flames are cheaper and easy, and if you don't like them they can be removed leaving the paint untouched.
The strong reaction of people when they see a flamed Prowler is amazing. There are plenty of options and only your imagination is the limit.

I wasn't sure if I'm going to put flames on the Woodward, but I have seen some flames that look great on other cars and wanted to see if anyone has put them on the woody.

But if nobody has done on it, I won't be the first.
