I am considering buying the Suspension Braces. I would appreciate those that have them tell me the pro's and con's, and any problems you may have had.

IMO get the upper and lower braces, no matter who makes them, anything less is a waste of money

Check out the MAC motorsports, but no matter what go for the whole kit.

I think Mac and Bill Gallagher - www.magictouchdesigns.com have the only braces top and bottom. There are some others with a top brace only. You can use the search feature on this web site to locate additional posts on the subject. Most people who have installed them have been happy with the results. I have had Bill's on for over 10,000 miles and wouldn't go back to driving my car without them. They particularly cut down on the bouncing in the front end on rough roads and give the car a more "solid" feel.

Happy Prowling

Marty

Antonio, click on the link on the next post down, its Mac Motorsports, I've had them over a year now, they are a little costly compared to the rest, but with the miles I've on them, they have paid for themselves many times over, yes billet aluminum

I noticed that the MAC ones have extra braces at the back of the car. Has anyone noticed a difference between a car with and one without those extra rear braces?

Actually,, they do,, I have them on mine. I just the put the bottom bracket on the front of the A arm connection. A little awkward to get them on, 5 min more in time, but they do fit. Again, this is just info Bill, I'm sure you make a great bracket at a reasonable cost.
I'm getting new tires today so I will see if I can get a pic of it to post.
I also have the large brackets on the back, the looseness I felt before install was in the front. But I feel the rear just add a overall tightness to the body. The body still flexes, the twisting of it is lessened.

Chuck,

I have the G-force "Top link" on my 2000 Prowler and it makes a big difference. Another friend of mine with a 1999 Prowler said it relly improved his ride and handling. It is a solid bar of aluminum and takes 5 minutes to install. Just another option. Contact Tony Goertz to purchase or search the forums for pictures of his brace.

Check this out! Front end brace, not a new idea but a lot better looking them most!
Solid polished aluminum with machined holes, inscribed " DC " (Direct Connection?)
No, D.C. Sports! One and one half inch wide, one half inch thick. Solid on one end,
clearance cut to clear the frame, spiracle rod on the other end for adjustment for exact fit.
