I've email'd about the 2002 schedule for classes and events we might be able to have some "long....weekend" get-together.

We've a B Stock classification for 2002, he's a list of our "competition": (page 4)

Some rules:

Stock is pretty limited in what you can change, but you are allowed
some "basics", especially for things that are wear items. Tires, as long as they are
"stock" sized, or at least fit safely on stock wheel sized are allowed, as are shocks
and FRONT roll bar. You can change or remove the air filter, but not replace the "hard"
intake items such as the airbox, or add a cold air intake.

A tech inspection checks for things like acceptable tires (no cord, and at least some tread showing), sound wheel bearings (using the 'grab the wheel and push/pull' method), allloose items including floor mats removed from the vehicle, no obvious fluid leaks, and a hands-off break test to make sure the car can stop safely. If you have your own Helmet is must be at least a Snell-90 or newer - with M or SA rated. It *MUST* have the snell sticker inside
it. If you don't have a helmet, loaners are available at all events.

Hopefully you see this post. You can count me in. I've run them before in a different car, never put my Kat in one but have been wanting to. Just never had the time. Let me know when and where and if I'm not working or if I'm with in a few hundred miles I'm THERE!!!!!!!

I'm trying to set something up for March/April 2002. Checked with regional and national schools and clubs, looks like "safe" fun. For instance, Bertil Roos Racing School allows track use for $300 a day/car, discounts for larger groups!
I'll try and keep everyone posted!
