I realize this is an extremely late notice but I did not know it until now.
This weekend, on Saturday, you can drive your car on the KY Speedway track if you spend $40 in the gift shop. You get 3 laps around the 1 1/2 mile tri-oval track. I am sure there are speed regulations but I do not know what they are. www.KentuckySpeedway.com.

Ed....I'm very interested! I sent them an e-mail to see if we could get a "special" series of laps. Maybe we could get the Ohio/Kentucky owners together down there.

Sounds like a LOT of fun if we get to reach kind of speed at all.

My car is at dealer having work done - leather repair on seats, new power window control unit, four new chrome wheels (finally Ed I will have clean wheeels!!), repair to top where it is rubbing around rear window. I hope they get it finished in time.

Keep us posted on any updated info.

Well....it doesn't look good. They said we could bring a group but everyone would have to spend 40.00 to get on the track......behind a pace car at 60 MPH I go faster than that on entrance ramps! I'll try to plead a case but I'm pretty sure the answer will be the same.
