Hi all! My name is Kathy Monteiro - I am with the PT (Cruiser) Owners Club, I might even have met a few of you at the Balboa/Newport Event! We,along with the Durango Owners Club, the Viper Club, your Club and the Marines are doing a Toys for Tots toy drive! The PtCruisers will be hosting a Sonic Drive In Meet in Anahiem on NOV.18 from 12:00 - 3:00 and we would like all of you in Southern California to join us! I have contacted Larry Lord and he is in support of this event! There will be plenty of room to park and vendors are also welcome to set up a booth! We will also be doing a cruise with all clubs to Camp Pendleton on DEC. 9 to deliver all toys collected and for a ceramony! This is truly a very rewarding and fun event! This is truly a worthy cause! We will joining the Ventura group gathering toys for tots. Kathy - thank you for bringing this up again. I have put this in our Events Calendar with you as the contact. If you can, please join in to collect toys for children!

Cliff, I spoke to Kathy while we were at the Balboa Event a couple of weeks ago. I hope you don't mind, I told her that you were already working on a Toys for Tots run and that we would try to connect it with theirs. Maybe a brunch before dropping off the toys? ------------------ |

Larry - I don't mind at all  In fact, this is the same toy drive - you are just hearing from a different source. We are spreading out all over Southern California (from Santa Barabara County to San Diego County) with the help of all the clubs. We are putting boxes in dealerships and asking them to collect toys for the children as well as having drives such as the Sonic event. We will be picking up the toys and delivering all of them December 9th. Kathy is the contact for the Sonic Drive-In event because she is already down there and we will be will be busy with a toy drive up here - probably at the Wal-Mart in Simi - that still has to be determined. Thanks for the support guys! Cliff - will you and your Ventura group be cruising - or is it prowling - down for this event? I would sure love to see a good Prowler turn out! We have plenty of room to park, so don't anyone worry! Hey everyone, lets pick up some slack for the Marines this year and deliver Dodge Truck loads of toys to Camp Pendleton this year!!! |

Hey Kathy, I'd like to hook up with the PT club for the delivery to Camp Pendleton and maybe the Sonic Drive in Cruise too. I'll mark these on my calendar and I'd like to help out however I can. Kathy - I don't think we are going to be able to make the Sonic Drive-In but we will be there for the other drives. The 18th is an bad day for us to try and head down there. ------------------ |

Bumping this to the top! Only 17 more days! Maguires Wax products will be there handing out goodies to the first 400 cars!! For the San Deigo group, we meet at the park and ride at the 5 & 78 freeway and cruise up as a group, leaving at 9 a.m., would love you all to join us! |
