Did anyone replace the driver'side door mirror glass? My glass was broken. The mirror motor is ok and the housing is ok.I need to know what a glass kit contains, and how to install it.A number of dealers and Chrysler could not provide me with that information.

I believe the right and left outside mirrors are single part numbers and after you received the part you would have to get it painted to match your car.
Good luck.

Andrew,
I've researched the Prowler Service Manual and found no
separate glass kit for the side mirror. You may have to
purchase the entire assembly including housing and all.
I don't know whether it comes pre-painted or primer.

Another alternative is to go to an auto glass shop and
have one cut and installed by them. I've had this done
a couple of times on my other cars. The latter is a lot less
expensive.

Andrew,
You may want to check Pep Boys or CarParts stores. They sell replace glass precut for different cars. Runs from $12-18 dollars and is a simple install.
