It looks like I'm being jerked around like all you guys.I ordered the headrest hoops and the door panels and all that I'm getting is a story but no product. I wonder how these guys can stay in business with the total lack of customer relations and a whole lot of BS that they offer.

You can get your headrest covers from Carlini in the color of your car or chrome. They also have the chrome trans cooler cover while you are spending morey. Great people to deal with and prompt shipent.

In addition, regarding my grievences with TGF I must add that EVERYONE else that I've dealt with in regards to either info or actually buying parts has been quick and upfront in either their deliveries or their responses to my questions. You know who you all are and I thank you.

Most of these businesses that produce the Prowler stuff is their side line. The runs of parts are small and at the mercy of other people.

Most of us have had a problem or two with these manufactures.

We are limited production vehicle and also a vehicle that is doomed for production and I Know I wouldn't want to get stuck with a lot of parts when everyone has what they need and no more Prowler are being produced.

These manufactures have donated a ton of these parts to Prowler Events and deserve a little more respect.

Patience is a virtue.

I was at the PT Crusier/Prowler event in Balboa/Newport last weekend and found them to be extremely helpful with all the questions that I was asking and when I expressed interest in the hardtop that they manufacture they told me that they would put it on and adjust it to fit if I drove the Kat over to their shop.

When I ordered my side panels and bumper covers I made arrangements to pick them up so I could save on the shipping. When I went to pick them up, the side panels were not ready. Norb told me that they would go out the next business day (this was a Saturday) overnight and I would not have to pay for shipping because they did not have them ready for me to pick up.

I have always found Norb to be professional and very helpful. Like GaryC - a lot of these parts are produced in small numbers and sometimes we have to wait until the next production shipment. Like any company there is miscommunication and things happen from time to time. This is not an excuse, just my experience.

That's what Norb told me. I would be getting half my order shipped out the next day-that was over two weeks ago. no shipment-no phone call-no answering my calls-no nothing!

Like Gary said, aftermarket Prowler parts is a risky business and IMO we should be thankful for whatever we can get. It takes a lot of guts for small outfits to make low volume stuff for expensive cars.

I have had plenty of conversations with Norb Shroll, and sometimes what he promised didn't happen. Keep in mind that at TGF he has to handle all the Prowler stuff himself, and with all the other things he has to do he has his hands full. Aftermarket products are a sideline for TGF. They make a lot of one-off prototypes, often with deadlines for shows, and Norb can never be sure what his bosses will want him to do next. I think he does as well as anyone could. Thanks, Norb!

You hit the nail on the head. DON'T PROMISE IF YOU DON'T INTEND TO KEEP THE PROMISE! I'm sure as I stated earlier that Norb and all the other people at TGF are nice people and that all this being a sideline will slow production, then they should make the customer aware of this problem and deal with them accordingly up front.

AH TGF: MY SECOND BAD TIME. THIS WAS THE REAR SPOILER. I ORDERED AUG.31. NORB SAID IT WOULD BE SHIPPED ON SEPT 4.
AS THEY HAD IT IN STOCK. AFTER GETTING B.S SHIP DATES TWICE.
AND STILL NO SHOW. I CALLED AND LEFT A MESSAGE,ON OCT 1 BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT TO HOT ON ANSWERING E-MAIL OR CALLS. I TOLD THEM I WAS SICK OF THERE LIES AND TO JUST KEEP THE DAMN THING. TWO DAYS LATTER NORB CALLED ME AT MY WORK TO SAY IT WOULD BE THERE THE NEXT DAY.(I GAVE HIM MY OPINION OF THE WAY THEY DEAL WITH PEOPLE. AND HE SAID HE REALIZED THIS AND THEY WHERE TRYING TO MAKE IT BETTER). SURE ENOUGH IT CAME. EACH CORNER OF THE BOX HAD THE END OF THE SPOILER STICKING OUT OF IT.THE PAINT WAS SCUFFED ON THE TIPS , THERE WAS HOLES IN THE SIDE OF THE BOX THE SIZE OF YOUR FIST. ON OPENING THE BOX. THE ONLY PACKING WAS SMALL BUBBLE WRAP.ONE LAYER ARROUND THE SPOILER. NOTHING ELSE IN THE BOX TO KEEP IT FROM FLOPPING ARROUND. IT IS UNREAL HOW THIS COMPANY DEALS WITH PEOPLE. THERE SHIPPING SUCKS JUST LIKE THEY DO.NEEDLESS TO SAY I CALLED UPS .THEY PICKED UP THE BOX FRIDAY. ITS ANYONES GUESS WHAT WILL HAPPEN NEXT.
