Do you have any idea how many might be attending, I don't want to drive all the way down there and find that we're the only ones. ------------------ |

last year, there were about 15 prowlers out there. it was not the greatest weather last year, so I expect there will be more this year. ------------------ |

Eric --- Tom Morris put's on one hell of a spread for everyone. About 15 + - Prowlers show up and everyosne has a great time. Hopefully even more Kat's will make it this year. The secone day, Tom organizes a little "road rally-sight-seeing trip" along the Oregon coast. If you can make it--you won't be sorry -- just be sure to take your camera & plenty of film. ------------------ |

Now that I've looked through the postings, I am now confused on whether this event is this weekend, or it was last weekend (& I missed it!). The event calender shows Oct 5th, but Tom's posting states last weekend. I will look at my email when I get home to verify. I wouldn't want you to drive down to find out (although I,m sure it would be a nice drive) that it was last week. ------------------ |

Glenn ---- According to the "Event's Schedual" sent out by Tom, the Cannon Beach/Haystack Rock Run" is this weekend, starting this Friday the 4th and going through to Sunday the 6th. PS. You'll like the Hallmark Inn -- the rooms have nice large hot tub/whirl-pools in them. ------------------ |

Fine Dinning Friday? Do we need to dress up or will jeans work? I'm trying to keep my wife's wardrobe to a minimum since I don't have a trailer. Like that will make a difference. ------------------ |

Eric -- "Clean Clothes" are about as fancy as it get's. Show up in a Tie & Jacket and you'll for sure be the only one! Speaking of jacket's, the only acceptable one is one with a "Prowler" logo. ------------------ |

Yes, it is on the 1st weekend in Oct (Fri-Sat). Its put on by Tom and Suzy Morris. I went last year and it was a great time. Nice area, great group of people, very fun cruise. It is the last event of the season, usually, for the NW Prowler association. We are having one run a month in the Pacific NW, included is Oregon, Washington and Victoria Canada this year. If you want I can forward the event schedule. Craig |
