StormBringer Prowler Newbie From:san diego |

Good news got my insurance quote back and looks like I can get a prowler in the next week or so if possible. ~1400 a year with 500,000 on all counts including no insurance colision. What I need help finding is a dealer in california who will lease me a Inca gold or silver prowler. i intend to purchase after the lease is over if the car still is in good working order and I still can live with a 2-seater. So if you got yours for msrp and are willing to pass the name along of a good dealer the closer to san diego the better then pass it on. The dealers here are asking almost 6000-10000 over on each car no negotiation. Plus they are really rude. So I make a plea help me find the car of my dreams. I know that we have some wonderful dealers supporting this site but for ligistics and financing/test driving reasons I need to drive up and drive the car back home. Thanks everybody hope top be able to crusie with you guys soon, but if I can't find a dealer by sunday I think that I will just go get a used viper and get it over with as my current lease is driving me nuts. |

You might want to call Star Chrysler in Glendale,CA (LA area). I was there yesterday and they have 7 new Prowlers(4 on the floor & 3 in back)...inca gold, orange with ghost flames, silver & blue are all on the floor. They might deal with that many in inventory. Their # is 818-502-1480...Finance guy is Marvin Lecheminant. (nice guy.....knowledge about prowlers is lacking...said they were stopping production of prowlers in a couple years and replacing with the "howler"...need I say more? |

Call Kirk Irvine at Ontario Chrysler Plymouth (near the 10 & 15 freeways in Ontario, CA) and tell him that I told you to call. They had a number of cars that they were finally willing to sell at a reasonable price. They also have the best service and parts department that I have found. Kirk's number is 909-390-9898 This message has been edited by Larry Lord on 09-29-2001 at 10:09 AM |

I would think you could get a good lease on a gold from any dealer now, during these slow economic times. Dealers and manufactuers are begging for business now. JMO ------------------ |
