Fred..... I also received this from a friend. It is comforting to see that a large part of the rest of the world is sharing in our pain. My hope is that they will not only offer us sympathy, but join us in the battle for freedom. The United States was physically attacked, but these acts threaten the entire free world. We should all be standing and fighting this terrorism together. As a person who has a family member in the military, I understand that I could lose this person who will be fighting for my freedom, the freedom of my country and all other countries in this world who are threatened by this terrorism. I understand this is the job. However, I am not ready to lose my family member for the rest of the world if they are not willing to send their troops to fight on this battlefield standing next to us. I am sorry if this sounds selfish. |
