I have had my Cat three years and I have 7000 miles on it. I have 5 different Plymouths that I drive in the summer and the Cat is only one of them. That's what they are for....to drive. If the Cat were my only collector car, I would drive it all the time. ------------------ |

Are you kidding? There is no such thing as driving your cat too much!!!! I am about ready to turn over 10,000 miles on my 1999 Black cat.........almost half of that I have put on since I got it out of winter storage in May of this year!! I retired from my job last July and have had LOTS of time to drive the cat!!! BTW.......here in Michigan, I can only drive it 6 months out of the year, too! Classic/Beautiful - I'm referring to the Cat of course! This message has been edited by CJ on 09-08-2001 at 03:18 PM |

I told myself I would keep the miles down at first Yah right once you get behind the wheel and go there's no looking back. I have a red 99 with 14k on it and like CJ we have a short driving season out here in our neck of the woods, enjoy it, drive it they only look good in the garage at night when your asleep. PK |

The question is do you think you are driving it too much? There is only one thing that makes the car valuable, the FUN you get from driving it. What fun is telling someone, Yeah, I got a Prowler at home but don't want to put too many miles on it. Drive the wheels off it ------------------ |

Bought my 2001 Orange Back at christmas time 2000. Now has 11,700 miles on it and counting. Would have more on it except that i am working on a ram air system and have had the car taken apart and on jacks. No reason not to drive as long as the weather is nice. ------------------ Amsoil Engine and Tranny Fluid |

13,500 miles on my 99. Purchased 04/15/99. Do not use as a daily driver because of the awful traffic and drivers in Georgia. ------------------ |

We should do a chart to see who drives their kat the most! I purchased my kat at the end of March and I have just passed the 7K mark! I love this car too much to leave it in the garage very long! I think I am going to go nuts this winter! We shall see. ------------------ |

Well lets see got the car in October of 1998 it now has 21198 on the odometer. If my math is correct that is 36 months (almost) into 21198 or 589 per month not counting trailer time to and from Texas California 3 times South Dakota Woodward 2001 So it looks tome that you are right on track. ------------------ |

Well......I finally did it! Turned over 10,000 miles on the beautiful Black Cat. I have more than doubled the mileage on it since I got it out of storage in May. Does that mean I LOVE driving my cat?? ------------------ Classic/Beautiful - I'm referring to the Cat of course! |
