Hi everybody, I am new to this forum and this is my first post. I am a member of "The Official Plymouth/Chrysler Prowler Club".I just found out about the "Prowler Owners Association". What is the difference between the two? At first glance, this group has a much more active website which would lead one to believe it may be a more active organization. Would anyone please enlighten me on this subject? Thanks! |

If I had to make a choice, I would opt for POA. Many people post on both sites, but this is by far the more active of the two. ------------------ |

Is there still another site? I thought all cat owners came to the POA! Viperprowler1 - the POA is the #1 website because: 1. We have the best owners 2. We have the best owners who participate 3. We have the best owners who participate and care about 4. Obviously, there is no comparison. I see you are a retired Dodge dealer. Please feel free to join us often, ask any questions, and add your input to any ongoing discussion forum topic. Welcome to the POA website!

Basically, we are not a formal "club" like other clubs. We have no dues, no officers, no state reps, no magazine or newsletter, etc. We do, however, have an unbelievable group of Prowler owners who like to get together and have a lot of fun! Anyone can set up an event. Anyone can go. Through the generosity of a couple of our members, we have an awesome website where we meet, talk, joke around, share stories, information, etc., and in general, enjoy the Prowler experience with our fellow Prowler owners!! Glad to see you here. ------------------ Classic/Beautiful - I'm referring to the Cat of course! |

VP, I'd have to agree with all of the above. If I had know I about POA, I wouldnt have wasted my money on the other. There seem to be too much politics over there. Where as here its the members who get things going with the added bonus of having such a nice person as the site owner. Mike is such a great person. Aside from being associated with Mike and the POA, This site seems to not have webmaster/server/whatever problems. What brought me over here was the fact that the other club couldnt seem to pay their bills and keep the site up and running. There were always rumors of finger pointing as to who was at fault for this and that......It just got OLD!!!! Hope you enjoy our site over here. Don |

The commaraderie and free and helpful exchange of ideas is surpassed only by the commadraderie and free exchange of good times when we gather at events. I don't think anyone ever feels like a stranger here on the site or at the events. ------------------ |

The enviroment is always 90% of the time a direct result of whoever is running the show. I believe this forum feels as it does first due to Mike Krehels attitude towards this forum and the enthusiasts who are willing to continue to flow in that ambiance. We have had a few that did not want to flow in that ambiance this forum carries and did not last. I too had some experiances with the other forum as some of you put it. It was a time of testing for me but pushed on and found I was very welcomed by Mike Krehels POA site. I soon found my edge in this forum and Mike Krehel allowed it to blossom. Thank you Mike!! Everyone here and all those that have not posted yet have something to offer to this site .... GUARANTEED !!! I enjoy myself here and at times can't believe how much time I spend here. IT IS ALL GOOD BABY!!! ------------------ |

The other site is dormant there is no positive action taken on requests, there is no follow up and no benefits, I tried to give the other site a chance under new administration and it still has not delivered. In my opinion there is only one site and you are here. |

Welcome to POA, You will find this site very friendly and helpful. It is the best car related site on the net (in my humble opinion ) There are a lot of really nice people here who know a lot about cats and enjoy sharing that knowledge. I don't post often but I'm always logging on. I have no idea how such a site exists without a fee. I guess it is a testament to those who run the site. Were always glad to see new members and were glad your here. Doc-Man |

I found this site by pure accident and I'am so glad I went surfing the net that day. I have only been here for a few mnths now and I was able to go to Deadwood the experience was worth more than money could buy as far as I'm concerned. Never have I met so many down to earth people in my life as I met there and talk with on this site. Some people associate you being very wealthy when they see you driving the car and then you must be a snob to, well except for AC lol everyone I met down there rich or poor whatever where the BEST. Mike and his generousity have givin all of us an oppertunity to get together any time of the day or night and ask questions or give help when needed. The way everyone reaches out to each other in good times and bad are PRICELESS for everything else there's M/C LOL hope you don't have a patent on that phrase AC PK |

There must be something about the Prowler that brings together people with a certain attitude. Not an "attitude" of power over others, control or hostility, but an attitude of lets all have a good time together. We have no boss (It would be as hopeless as herding cats), and everyone does as they wish. POA people are as nice a bunch of human beings as you could find anywhere. There are lots of car clubs, but the people in them are not like those in POA. Towns in the Black Hills of SD have hosted many rallies over the years and they rate POA the nicest and they want us back. To me the mystery is what is it about this certain vehicle that brought us together. ------------------ |
