Here is a picture of them on my car. OK here is what I have found out 97,99 rub with Goodyear tires. 2000 and up rub just a little because they are higher off the ground. If you buy the Dunlop tires this is a must!! No rubbing and make the car sit fatter. You can realy tell when one prowler is next to another. ------------------ |

CJ On the photo of the rear of your car, the SP9000's seem to be narrower than the factory tires or is that an illusion with the spacers? DW |

I thought the spacers made the tires rub the outside fender?? or does that just bring the tires out to the edge?? ------------------ |

The Dunlop's 9000 are not as wide as the Goodyear's but are sold as the same size. They will not rub with the wheel spacers and will look a lot better and wear better than the run flaps. JMO Chris ------------------ |

So does the wheel spacers cause the tires to rub against the body of the Prowler? I can't imagine that'd be good to have at all.......... Still wanting a pair as long as it doesn't cause damage. -Ben ------------------ |

The run flats are more flat across than the Dunlop 9000's. The Dunlop's sidewall is more rounded allowing for it to tuck into the fender with the spacers. I really don't recommend the Goodyear's with the spacers, I have not seen any damage just some rubbing marks on the tires. But to each his own. Chris ------------------ |

I just installed GAry E's spacers with Dunlops and they look terrific and don't hit. I can see why the Goodyears hit as they seem to be nearly an inch wider at the edge of the tread |
