If production stops will it make the cost of the Prowler go up or are we going to end up like GMC Syclone, Pontiac Fero and etc. What do you guys think? ------------------ |

Since I didn't buy the car with future value in mind, I don't really care. But, my guess would be its going to a few years before we see any real increase in value associated with these cars. ------------------ This message has been edited by Dave Mills on 09-01-2001 at 02:06 PM |

my long time experience (20 years) with the buying public tells me last years model is just that, they don't know, don't care and don't want it, thus less value ------------------ |

You can buy a used GMC Syclone for $10,000. Resale is good, but not extraordinary. I doubt that the Prowler with 10,000+ production units will go any better than any other car. Again, the secret is that you "get it" and that you drive it. Richard ------------------ |

Good question Brian... I'm guessing that once the media announces that the last prowler is being shipped, sales interest will increase but unfortunately the sales price will hold about where it is now. |

Brian, I would concur with the replies. I bought the Prowler because I want to drive it and don't intend on selling it ever. Unlike some on the board, I have one so I am a little concerned about stopping the line and what it might do to parts prices. Maybe I should go out and buy another to strip for parts. ------------------ |
