I received an e-mail from Sasy with the following news, Thought I'd share: I was going to post that DC will have a meeting this fall to determine if the Prowler production will continue any longer. Actually some execs are speculating that It will cease earlier than expected. They are losing too much money, hand over fist. A dealer friend dumped all his Prowlers at auction and will write off the losses. He is not ordering any more, unless they are paid in full by the customer. This may be either good or bad news depending on how you feel about it. I personally hope they drop the line. ------------------ |

I agree, Al. While I never bought the car with the intention of making any money on it, I believe it should have ended when D/C dropped Plymouth. This has nothing to do with keeping the value up, I guess I was just loyal to Plymouth. ------------------ |

Hey Chromey. I heard it was going to be an even more powerful engine. Something about a cardboard Hemi based on Bill's model... ------------------ |

Dave Mills - once again, I'll agree with you. Scary isn't it? The Prowler should have came to an end with the death of the Plymouth name, in Jan. 2001. JMO
Laddie - get the patent on the cardboard Hemi! ------------------ |

I agree with Dave Mills and ALLEY CaT. When I found out DC had discontinued or deleted Plymouth I hurried to gather my pennies. Thats one of the reasons I have an 01 Orange Plymouth. My very 1st car was a 74 Plymouth Duster. Alex ------------------ |

Has DC or CAAP been working with you on anything? Is there really going to be an HP Prowler option or not? This message has been edited by SPCL-T on 08-31-2001 at 03:08 PM |
