Part I Well, it's been a little over a week since the Woodward Dream Cruise event. I apologize for taking so long to post this, but it's tough coming down from a great event like this. Lots of after-Dream Cruise things to do and finish up (not counting trying to keep up with the board stuff). Geez, I'm not even finished going through all my pictures yet, so I can do some posting and a scrapbook! It's hard to believe a year has been spent preparing for this event and now it's over with. The last houseguest has departed, all the Prowler Owners have made it home safely and all that is left are a LOT of great memories. I have to say that Woodward is awfully quiet!! I want to thank everyone who attended the Dream Cruise this year and made it such a great success!!! I hope all of you will be back next year for lots more fun! Thank you to all of you who were able to come in early enough to participate in the Roush Tour (yes, we took JD, Dan P, Rich and JohnS as we promised) the CAAP Tour, the Cruise to Hell, the Harold Sullivan Collection Tour, the DaimlerChrysler Dream Cruise, the DaimlerChrysler Black-Tee Party (oh, Dan P) and, of course, the Woodward Dream Cruise! Special thanks to John Davies, Dan Pena, John Schulz, Larry Salzman and Rich and Linda Ware for coming in at the beginning of the week! We had an absolute blast, didn't we?? I don't think I have laughed that hard in a long time! We have to do it again next year. I'm sure we can find a lot more mischief to get into! Some other special thanks...... John Davies (JD) - You were the first one here and the last to leave!! I know it killed you to have to ride/drive a Black Cat, but thanks for all the laughs, for cruising with me all week long and driving me to Hell! LOL! Next year the Silver Bullet will be back on Woodward - the legend lives on! It was 4 birthday parties, wasn't it? Dan Pena - Holy Cow! Everyone always thought that Elvis was secretly living in Kalamazoo, MI. Now everybody knows he is really in San Jose, CA! I am so proud of the extrovert you have become! Don't forget those dance lessons we talked about! I have lots of stories and pics to post yet! Thanks.....for everything, Dan! (But not for that ride to the airport at 4:15 a.m....just kidding! ) John Schulz - Glad you made it to join in the fun! It was great spending time with you again! Sorry about Abby! Thanks for all the videotaping and pics of Dan (hurry and get them posted)! For the laughs and the support throughout the week! For being my co-conspirator on the birthday parties!! Rich & Linda Ware - What can we say? It was way too much fun!! Bob and I were so glad to see you guys again and hope we can do it again somewhere, sometime soon! We had a week full of cruising, eating, laughing and downright fun! For a moment there on Sunday, I thought we were going to have permanent houseguests!! LOL! Thanks again! Larry Salzman - Well, Sasquatch, you finally made it to Dream Cruise!! It was so great to see you and spend time with you again. Wish you could have gone to Hell with us! Hope the cruise was everything we said it was. Have you ever seen that many cars cruising anywhere else? Next time, bring the cat!!! Many thanks to the Make A Difference Foundation, Carol Schultz, Linda Schultz and all the other volunteers for a great Dream Cruise event down on Pike Street! The parade was cool! CJ, you really really did come really close to having permanent houseguests. We had an absolute blast. I truely did not want to leave. I was hoping to have a Groundhog Day (The Movie) kind of week. LOL. I had sore ribs from laughing so hard during the week. Just to let you know how great it was, even if I knew my Kat would suffer the same fate coming again, I still would. I just hope we don't have to wait until next August to see y'all again. We will be back next year. ------------------ |
