Special thanks to CJ, Carol, Bob, and all involved in planning the Woodward Dreamcruise. Perfect time and place for the worlds largest gathering of Prowlers! I have decided that our cars have become secondary to the success of these events...the GREAT fun is with the friends who bring them, and for the people who work so hard to organize them! We come home wiped out, but can't wait for the next gathering. You guys did a great job! I have already been pouring through hours of video tape and will post pictures soon. The stuff we did at the Dreamcruise looks so good, I will be producing a video tape document of our involvement in the worlds largest cruise event. If you are interested, let me know. It will be killer! ------------------ |

Mike- You are absolutely right about the FREINDSHIPS that are kindled at these events. We enjoyed everything SOOOOOOOO much! Everyone was great. Count us in for a video and don't forget to send Goertzy his goodies C.O.D. for ALL the duties! Shoulda been there Pete... Thanks again to everyone that made this event such a success and to the 58 Prowlers, 1 Prowler GO CART and about 500 PT's that showed in the Chrysler facility parking lot to cruise and come back for the Black Tee party. What a sight!!!!!!!!!! I'm sure this one will go down in the history books, or maybe Karen will build onto the big event picture book, WOW! Now those were GREAT!

Paul, great to see you and Jody again, a glad to see you looking health as a horse. You bet..spectacular time at Woodward, just went way to fast. Days of seamless fun! As I had mentioned to Roger, it is great at my advanced age to find something this great to get excited about. FYI..already e mailed Peter for an address. He'll be pleased that a Purple Prowler, a Mayes edition Johnny Lightening and some other cool stuff is on the way! Think he is going to owe me a couple of Canadian cold ones to cover international shipping ya think? ------------------ |

CJ, we have more fun with you an Bob...and yes, lets do it soon! Larry Herder thought something around Lake Michigan and Petoskey, or maybe North of the Bay around Lake Huron. I really don't think it matters much where..guarenteed to be a great time anywhere. When we catch our breath, the Woodward stories will loom large! I know there are pictures people would pay for....pay to get back! ------------------ |

Mike and Karen, Thanks for all the fun. The Scrap Book is really something to see. Looking forward to doing this again. Twice in one year, Deadwood and Woodward. Plus I know you didn't believe there there was a Mrs. Ghostrider but now you all have met her. ------------------ |

Al, I was starting to think that Pat and Monahan's car were both figments of your collective imaginations! LOL..but to see Mrs. Becker and Eds car in the same weekend...well, breathtaking. I was surprised she didn't have her own strobe lite! By the way, my calendar and yours work the same way...Deadwood and Woodward in the same year. The fact that Grand Canyon was 9 mos ago doesn't count...that was last year. Rich good to see you guys...We have some great shots of your car...I'll put you on the list for Woodward Video. I'm anxious to get to work on it! Man what a weekend! ------------------ |

Sandy and me had a blast at Woodward. The only bad part is that the Prowler people are so much fun, you hate to go off on your own to look at all of the other cars. Woodward itself is spectacular but the Prowler group is what makes is memorable. Thanks to Carol, CJ & Bob for all of the pre-planning and thanks a lot to David & Erika, Paul & Jody for stepping up and taking up the slack when things got crazy. They ran the raffle and kept the 47 Prowlers all in one group, which blew the crowds away. We got a lot of standing ovations as we went up and down Woodward as a huge group. Also a HUGE thanks to DC for creating this DREAM CAR and throwing a heck of a party for all of the owners. And last but certainly not least, Mike & Judy K. for making it possible for all of us to get to know each other and get together thru their generosity and this website. We sure missed you guys at Woodward and Deadwood. Any rumor about me almost having an accident going 45 MPH in reverse is just that, a rumor. |

Ed - I'll second the post about Mike and Judy. Where would we all be today without this great website? Nevermind, I will not go there I promise

SPCL - T - Sorry, that phase must have stuck in my mind after Woodward. You have the registered TRADEMARK, and I will never infringe on it again. BTW - nice to have met you and that wild cat! ------------------ |

I think Sonny & Cher beat you guys to it by at least 30 years. Send him a bottle of pennies to make up for your faux pas, Sasquatch. |

Hi Guys & Gals Don't forget that it was THE PONTIAC POLICE THAT GOT US THAT CRUISE SATURDAY NIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!! They didn't have to do that, but they did it for me and Make-A-Difference. It had nothing to do with the cars - it was the people like you that made the difference with them. You are great people and they know that!!!! Carol S |

Speaking of Police, we were stuck in traffic on Woodward down around 13 mile next to two young cops and we were talking back and forth. I told them we were from Cincinnati and they said, "Boy the cops down there are really taking a beating" How bad is that when Detroit cops think they have it better than the local cops here. Pathetic, but totally true. The politicians here are trying to be politically correct instead of backing the boys in blue. You are correct Carol, the local gendarmes treated us royally and seemed to be enjoying themselves at the same time. They were all polite and smiling most of the time. I'll bet they were tickled pink when it rained Sat. evening and dispersed the crowd early. That made their jobs a whole lot easier and by that time they were probably pretty tired. Larry, more appropriately, in a plastic case housed in a cardboard box tenderly surrounded with bubble wrap lining industrial strength papparus outer shield. Sounds like you have already seen the Crazyhorse video...and yes, maybe a little bungalow on the water, nothing to big, you know how the prices are on the beach! ------------------ |
