Today I toured the Conner Ave Assy Plant in Michigan where the Prowler and Viper are made. Thanks to the group of Prowler owners at www.prowleronline.com for inviting me on their tour today. I am in town for the Woodward Dream Cruise festivities. I am sure others will post their pictures, but if you are wondering what the Prowler Inca Gold looks like, look at this picture: Some 2002 Prowlers ready to ship: ------------------ |

Thanks for the pictures - it is so awesome to see that many kats all lined up. I have a question.. there is a different color kat about 4 rows to the right and about 3 or 4 rows back.. is that an orange or is it the new red? Also, are those pin stripes on the gold ones in front? It looks like they go just about to the grille area and then stop - or is that a reflection from the lights? Thanks again! ------------------ This message has been edited by CWatsonJr on 08-16-2001 at 10:02 PM |

The stripes are painted by hand and go just about to the grill area and then stop. The one you were asking about might have been an orange one. All the ones on the assy line today were inca gold, there were many silvers in the ready room also. Mike |

Thanks for sharing Mike. Is it me, or do those Golds look like they're sitting up high-maybe the suspension hasn't settled and no fluids yet? ------------------ |
