Many dealers have silver and orange prowlers available with either the Plymouth or Chrysler name on them for the 2001 model year. I was wondering what the thoughts were on the name brand rarity or value difference. Example what is more desirable or will be more desireable a orange Chrysler or an orange Plymouth? Is it the Plymouth cuz the name brand is gone forever or the Chrysler with less made of that name? Just a thought to stir some conversation. I notice the left rear bumper is now left blank where it used to read plymouth that looks kinda corny. Also does anyone know what total Chrysler silver and orange production will end up at? I am sure they are on Gold now. Will they run more chrysler silvers and oranges or are they done with those colors now for good? |

Bobkat, Not sure about the production #, and colors, but want to comment on the Plymouth vs Chrylser name. 1) I like the "Plymouth" Prowler....it just sounds better to me. 2) As you mentioned, I like seeing Plymouth on my rear bumper 3) I think Plymouth Heritage, think muscle car (Chrysler muscle car?) When I think Chrylser, I think mini-van or PT Cruiser. There will most likely be more Plymouth Prowlers than Chrysler Prowlers made...but the Plymouth name is now heritage. |
