I decided to take the Prowler to a business meeting in Rhode Island two weeks ago (I live on Long Island, NY, it was a four hour drive). I knew packing would be tight, but it was only four days and the meeting was business casual, I knew I could just put a soft bag on the seat. Then, I good friend asked if he could come with me. Hell yes, I replied. Here's how we did it. We both packed light, but not unreasonably so (4 or 5 pairs of pants, as many shirts, workout clothes, running shoes, toiletries, etc.) and we used what is pretty much a large gym type bag that could fold flat when empty. We then unpacked our bags and laid out our belongings flat in the "trunk." It was a very tight fit, took a few tries to get the lid close, but we did it. Two guys and four days in a Prowler. I don't think I could have done it with my wife (she likes to bring stuff), but it is possible, if not a bit of a hassle (yes, we had to repack when we arrived at the hotel) but it was very much worth the effort to take that car on a road trip.

Tom - you need to get a Weekender! That would have solved your problem altogether!

We have a Prowler garment bag. It works really well for a 2-4day trip. It fits perfect in the trunk. George

yep, garmet bag is the best solution in my opinion, or a small duffel... I got mine from Tumi, they make nice stuff.
