last night I started to hear a squeaking noise in my dash area sounds like crickets when I drive on uneven payment does anyone know how to fix.

Push on your console where your guages are located and see if it stops. The console has Styrofoam behind it. Mine sometimes squeaks, but it is usually only when its cool.

My dash does this too. I've seen some wild corrective action for this problem here on the board, but it's intermittant, and clearly just the plastic and/or foam parts rubbing together. I think I'll live with it until I have a valid reason to take the dash apart. Can't hear it with the top down anyway!

This may be wat your hearing!! It has taken me 6 months to find a "chirping" noise over uneven pavement. It really showed up when slowing down to a stop.

What it turned out to be was where I had adjusted the tilt steering wheel too. I used to have it about in the 2nd or 3rd notch down from the top. I then dropped it down one more notch and damned if that wasn't it.. I can put it down all the way and no noise or in any notch but, what I'm calling the middle one. I put it back up one notch and its gone. Weird! It was throwing us because it sounded like it was in the dash area about center to left side...
