While we were in Virginia for Camp Jeep this past week, we made a stop at a ToysRUS to get a Super Soaker for my grandson (all the kids were having water gun fights). While I was there, I found 3, yes 3, Larry Mayes (Wildcat) Johnny Lightning 1999 Prowlers diecast models!!! and a Looney Tunes Toy Cars Die Cast 5 Pack by Racing Champions, which includes the Tweety Yellow Prowler! (There were 5 of the packs, but I only bought 3 of them.) and a 1:18 scale Silver Plymouth Prowler (first one I've seen).
------------------ Classic/Beautiful - I'm referring to the Cat! |

Richard, that reminds me, I did get that 1:18 scale cat for you last week. I forgot about it until I read CJ's post. I went to a cruise in Friday night and found 2 more Wildcats. CJ did you find my 69 Camaro Pace car? If not, then the entire trip was a waste of time. |

My girl is going to Ohio for a week. Hope she can find a Toys R Us. I bet the Cat models arent big movers in the area where she grew up. Still collecting! Good find CJ. ------------------ |

Ed - at our sat car show, there was a real 69 Camaro Indy Pace car convert, just what you want and flawless. Little too big for your collection? |

AlleyCat.....forgot to tell you that Bob found the Maisto Show Haulers Series Silver PT towing the Silver Prowler! Also found another one of those Racing Champions Fifty Fastest Muscle Cars Purple Prowlers. Also picked up a Johnny Lightning Chrysler Atlantic (bronze color)! Yeah, Larry, I was freakin' and I heard some comments about "those crazy Northerners"!! I couldn't believe it!!!! It's getting kind of embarassing......whenever I am in a ToysRUs or a Target, or Kmart or Meier, or Walmart, people see this grown woman rifling through all the diecast cars like she is on some kind of mission!! I don't understand why they are looking at me like I'm weird or something!? Ummmmmmmmmmmm, Ed......... This message has been edited by CJ on 07-31-2001 at 09:19 PM |

CJ - You keep finding all these die-casts, and Bob will have to add another room to the house. A silver PT pulling a siver Prowler? For sale? |

AC - It will take me a long time to catch up to Bob in the diecast department! Here's what it looks like: It says "PT Prowlin'" on the side of the PT

Thurdsday is my granddaughter Samantha's 5th birthday. She wanted a Barbie doll and I couldn't find it. So tonight I got a fresh description and Sandy and I stopped at ToysRUs and found still 2 more Wildcats, plus 2 '67 Camaro Pace Cars, (not the one I really need.) This was an error car, one is a SS and one a regular Camaro, with diff. interiors. Apparently Johnny Lightning just shipped a fresh batch of cars. Richard, where did you get a white Lightning? Sandy found the Barbie, it is about 2 feet tall and costs $ 140. She's not getting it from me. Her mom just won $10,000, maybe she will buy it. |
