Would you trade your Prowler for a 1971 Cuda black hardtop with a numbers matching, great condition, 440 6 pack with Shaker hood and hood pins? The color is "cruising yellow" with black billboards. Automatic with black bucket interior. Papers included. Not high mileage.

Tempting, but no trade!
The Cuda sounds good, find a way to get it too.

On the color are you sure it isn't Curious Yellow. This is the color mine was. looked like someone pee'd in the paint for a green tint in the yellow. I hated it at the time, Boy would you kick me for selling it.

Having owned a `71 `Cuda Convertible and sorry I sold it the answer would be NO.

If it were a convertible maybe, NAAAA. Hemi YES

It all depends on your personal taste. The Cat you can drive cross country and not have to worry. A low mile `71 440 6 barrel `Cuda would you want to drive it cross country? Plus can you keep it running? All the multi carb cars run poorly and most had them pulled when new and a single 4 barrel.

Here's the listing from NADA. Dont know if you'll really get the price quoted. Why would the guy trade, and what's the real market value? I might trade, but for sure with the hemi car-no brainer there.

I personally wouldn't trade unless I was certain I could quickly resell the Cuda for enough to buy another Prowler with money to spare to upgrade it. If it was just a break even deal no way.

Thanks guys. Each of you gave me something to think about. Its the car at Volo. Volo always pushes the upper end on price, but their 4 showrooms are really something to see if you ever get the chance. Curious yellow. I have a tough time not burning spaghetti noodles so trying to keep 3 carbs coordinated is not gonna happen. I will hold off. Beer is on me if we ever hook up.

Yeah I love those old Caddies too. Another Cat does that mean you are going to make Woodward?

Gary, COOL Caddy and with your background as janitor at a Caddy dealer should be right up your alley.

My favorite is a `59 Coupe de Ville or convertible

Gary, YES you told me something about just getting license and a speeding mucle car, Vette maybe?

A friend of mine has a beautiful Lemon Twist Yellow `70 AAR `Cuda and he was offered a new Prowler for it from local dealer in Indy.

Looks like Yellow Cuda's are the thing to trade for Cat.
