Wild Bill - maybe the $15 in Canada isn't out of line for the touch up paint. I paid $9.95 here, and waited three months for it to come in. Something about: Prowler Millenium Silver Platninum being the most perfect color and hardest to mix in the DC color schemes. I won't bring up those OTHER stories in Deadwood like Keith did, incase Mrs. Shannon is reading this |

Wow $15 a bottle sounds steep. My guy at the parts counter at my nearby plymouth dealer can get me whatever coler i want for like $5 or $6 and he can get them the next day. If you need any help and cant wait then email me. Also, i will check on the silver touch up to see if he can get it any faster for those of you who are waiting. ------------------ Amsoil Engine and Tranny Fluid |

Bill, go to an automotive paint store and have them mix you up a pint according to the paint code, and while you wait. It doesn't cost that much and is a much better deal. Tell them however it is for "touch up" by hand so that they give you the right paint. The color is more accurate than those small tubes. If you don't shake those small tubes to death (after you hear the ball bouncing) the color is not accurate and those brushes are difficult to use. Get the touch up paint applicators from Griot's Garage. They are far better than those(tube)brushes or even paper match ends. They will give you a nice job, putting on several very thin coats. |

The paint store solution won't work with the mulholland. The paint out of the can is not a direct match. It has to be played with to get it right. The paint out of the can has too much black in it and looks muddy. ------------------ |

Hi Bill, think I paid $7. for red locally, be glad to try to get silver if you like...few days turnaround. BTW, we came back via Hgwy 2 in the Uppper Peninsula following Lake Michigan Shoreline...great drive, nice small towns and lots of scenic turnouts...only added about 40 miles (but some additional time) to the return trip. Darn near hit a cougar (cat not car) on hgwy 2...thing of beauty! Let me know if you would like more info! ------------------ |
