About a month ago some uninformed non-Prowler owner posted on the POA and said he read comments in a trade rag citing that Prowlers didn't handle well at 70-80 mph on the highway. Well last week was my first time that I drove the car at 80 mph for an extended period-about 30 miles with the top down. The car handled well, no shaking of the hood or steering wheel, everything was fine. The author of that article is wrong. Par for the course on these authors who sit in the car for 15 minutes and act as if they know all. Just wanted to give the facts, and nothing but the facts, based on an actual drive by an objective, yes I'm objective, person.

Sunny day, 80(f) with no wind, top down, and I drove the Prowler to 130mph without any problems. Whoever said that they dont handle well at 70mph certainly doesn't own one. -Ben ------------------ |

I've had mine up to 240 klm which is over 150 up here in Canada our cars don't have the chip in them that cuts off at 130. It was scary but was ok to control PK |

Ive done 125 with the top up on the highway with absolutely no problems at all and i have done 115 with the top down and the only complaint was that with the top down it took longer to go faster ------------------ Amsoil Engine and Tranny Fluid |

I have heard you can feel the front begin to lift at around 130. Is this true? ------------------ |

No BIG LARRY it wasn't a runaway logging truck it was a jealous husband in a PT cruiser, and dammit I just barely out ran him LOL, and to answer the question about the front end getting lite I never noticed it. PK |

Hey now, do all you guys have the mac suspension braces??? or homemade ones??? IF not, I don't know how you all can say the prowler handles so great. Mine does now that I the braces but before, that shake over bumps was not a good feeling to me...................the braces make all the difference ------------------ |
