Somebody double check the math, I doubt if he can count. I hope we are home in time to make it to Woodward. It has rained every afternoon since we made it to Colo. We have played golf every evening after the rain. We drove thru Rocky Mtn Nat. Park today to Estes Park by way of Trail Ridge Road. Pretty neat, lots of animals. We are heading out on Thursday and should get home on Sat or Sunday. I have been brushing my hair every day with my new hair brush and I must say, "I look Mahhvelous". |

It's Sunday here so it is 32 to go. We got home this evening after stopping and reading every Hysterical Marker in Colo, Kansas, Missouri, Illinois and Indiana and none of them were even slightly funny. We were in the exact center of the the USA, in northern Kansas. That is one sad looking place but I felt very centered. Too bad Sasquatch wasn't there!!! lol. Saw the Pony Express statue somewhere, too tired to remember. It was near an IGA, where we bought lunch and had a picnic. We came home route 36 from Colo to Indianapolis and gave up and got on I-74. No problems on the way home. Had a fabulous two weeks. I have to pick up the mail Monday and see if I have an invite to the Black T party. Does this have anything to do with Boston Harbor? Hope the mail is quick going back up I-75. I had three different people ask me about the Field of Dreams today in the Cracker Barrel Restaurant while I was wearing the T-shirt. I think we were in Illinois. |

Edward - as you can tell from the first post on this thread, this is YOUR THREAD!!! One of those cheap post you make to take away another t-shirt from me! I see you have a backup plan now, just post about a virus warning, why I didn't think of that? Take off your socks, put your hands on the table, and start counting everything you have and see if you can give us a new number by this evening? Thanks |

I will guess and say it is 25 days until Thursday the 16th, since it is already Sunday here and in Detroit, and a lot of other places, probably. I decided I must have the best color Prowler since it is a Virtual Reality Prowler and I can make it any color I want to make it. |

Gar, while at this thread, you could change the days! I understand that there are high paying tables at the casinos in Detroit and Windsor. In '98, I left $400 to the Canucks in Windsor, in thirty minutes!! Go get it back for me.

I'd like to go to some of these outtings but I hate to put the milage on my Cat. I assume that there are places to stash a trailer once people arrive at the primary distination? Also, has anyone rented a trailer for their Cat before and can you give me an idea of the cost per day or week? Thanks! Carl ------------------ |

Carl, I presume you are talking about a Prowler to haul your Prowler on and not a small trailer to tow behind your Prowler. I checked at U-Haul on renting an aluminum trailer to tow to Deadwood. It was $50 a day for a round trip and I can't remember what it was per mile for a one-way. I think about $ 250 for 1200 miles, but it could have been $ 350. This is for a flat trailer, not enclosed. I have no idea what the rental fee is for that. I realize it is not much info, but it is a start. I would think you could park your trailer 20 miles away from Woodward without a lot of trouble, but I would think it would be tough to find a spot really close, if they are selling parking spots for cars at the rate that they are getting. |
