That car also had ghost flames on it. This car, and John Ross's Chromeillusion were the hottest colors there,,, IMO.. Great pics,, David ------------------ This message has been edited by jd2ksilver on 07-09-2001 at 01:22 AM |

Are the seams around the grill and bumper kit filled in and smoothed? Looking at the third image, it looks like it is smooth. I couldn't tell if it was or was simply just an illusion in the low-res image. ------------------ |

Does anyone know if they are offering those tail lights as a cover for the existing lights or even a new light assembly? That would be an after market product I might be interested in. ------------------ |

Bob H. - I spoke to Ed about those tail light lenses, and he said they were sprayed with a black translucent paint. Testors does make a translucent paint for their model cars, where a dark window tinting is wanted. It is a 3 oz. spray can, cost is $3.29 each, stock number #1634, and is available in most hobby/craft stores that carry Testors' product. Or can be ordered thru Testors - www.testors.com Lense must be ultra clean, and have denatured alcohol available when spraying. If you screw up with runs, wipe off immediately with the alcohol on a clean soft rag. Testors will not recommend their products for regular automotive applications - you have to be very careful. The results can look like the REALROD cat. Hope that helps you. ------------------
