What a great week. After arriving in Deadwood while my car was in Rapid City for a week I thought I should just catch a flight out. However so many people made me feel welcome I ended up staying til friday, while I originally planned to drive home on Thursday. Thanks to CJ and Bob, GPS John, (he even let me drive his car), John Davies and the others who let me cruise with them, I had a wonderful week meeting all the people who make this site and this car so much fun. And of course I can't forget Pete and Duffy who provided us with some laughs and cold well water while we watched Deb dancing on the highway. I have slept more in the last 24 hours than I did all week thanx to all those who kept dragging me with them and wouldn't take no for an answer. There are going to be a few tales (all lies) told and all I ask is for you to consider the scources before thinking for even one minute that they could be true.

quote: LE Cat, always telling the real facts! Scarbeary, now tell the truth, please. We were all up late BECAUSE YOU wouldn't look at the menu and order your dinner. It takes Marc ONE HOUR to decide what he is going to eat, then during dinner and afterwards, TALKS for three more hours. DO NOT put the blame on anyone else, for lack of sleep at Deadwood!!! It was really great to finally meet you and let you expand your wisdom to me. Lets' do it again! While Marc is a really nice guy, I highly suggest to have dinner with the others at an event (if you want to eat before midnite).

Larry I just wake up from my second nap of the day and already lies! My motor mouth disease has been with me since childhood. With five brothers who are all quiet introverts somebody had to talk at dinner and I took that role on and carry it on today with honor. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. ------------------ |

Marc - Obviously you have underestimated my influence on the reading members of the POA. You will be eating alone at the next event, unless Mohawk and GPS find some kindness in their hearts(?)............... ------------------

Let the lies begin. GPS or Mohawk would never invite me to dinner. Woops I shouldn't be picking on myself. ------------------ |

Marc, was good to put name to a face. Sorry about the car. Hope they have it fixed and on the road again soon. As far as talking alot at dinner, I think everyone at the table was doing a good job of that. Next time hope the cat has not used another of it's lives ------------------ |

Larry Man it was so cool to see your car in person. I plan on flying to Rapid City and driving back sometime this week. Hope I can miss any thunderstorms. Look forward to seeing you again someday. ------------------ |

Not a chance! You probably would and I won't allow it. You, Bob, GPS and JD did so much already to salvage a bad situation I'll be paying it forward (because you guys would not let me do anything for you) for a long time. No really, thanx CJ for all your help and sympathy. And about the purse.......lies it's all lies. ------------------ |

Thanks CJ for reminding me - Marc is now: Marc "The Purse Smasher" Scarbeary While driving his cat off the trailer, he ran over and smashed CJ's new purse and its contents. Big Goodyear paw print as evidence. Marc, I would think a gift certificate from Neiman-Marcus might help this matter? You are now titled for life my friend................ ------------------
