The moon was full today, which may have helped encourage my wife and me to pick up a 2001 orange at the local dealer! Quite a 4th-of-July present, eh? I was squealing like a little kid all the way home, after all these years of pining for a kat.

My thanks to all of you for the great information on these forums, which helped me pre-sale...I'm sure I'll have lots of questions now that I'm prowling.

welcome to the board!!! Orange is a great choice! Don't forget to install some ceramic brake pads too, or you'll have brake dust all over your Kat, but ONLY put these on the front!

Congratulations on your new addition.

I have a 2001 Silver Prowler and I too have added the ceramic brakes and the mud flaps. Would not have the car without them! The flaps save a lot of stone chips and the pads do decrease the brake dust. Both are a worthwhile investment.

At the urging of many of the Prowler owners I recently tried to pick up a new accessory that I like but is quite expensive. I would like to have the HDH installed in my car. (Home Depot Honey)

I am told by past posts that this accessory is usually picked up that the local Home Depot. I have also been informed that it just appears when you come out after purchasing some stuff for your home. I have been taking trips to my local Home Depot on a regular basis but, so far, I have not been rewarded with the accessory.

My wife thinks that I am nuts for hanging at the local Home Depot on a 24 X 7 basis but she read the posts from the others that did find true love and she is till encouraging me to continue my quest.

Perhaps the Prowler Orange is the true key to success so if you do cruise the local store and you are fortunate enough to find this accessory please post so that the rest of us will understand how to do it.

I am beginning to think that you have to pull in throwing $100 bills and then park the car and leave a brief case full of them on the front seat.

In any case enjoy your car and even if you do not find a suitable accessory at your local Home Depot, you do have a wonderful car.

I'll go for the flaps and maybe the brake pads, but the HDH isn't needed - I have my own honey right here, who was instrumental in getting the kat...she's the best!

JD, Welcome!
My wife, Carol, just picked up an orange 8 weeks ago (wasn't satisfied riding shotgun in a silver).
We are out of Harrisburg so maybe we can cruise.
This is a great group of people.
