I've had my Muholland for about four months now, and love everything about it. Ran in to another prowler owner who had the mud flaps and I took his advice on getting the front ones. Throughout the last few months I have been reading about all the add-ons a lot of you have put on your Cats, and even though I intended to leave mine stock some of these extras sound pretty tempting. I was curious if any of you had some advice on what is good and what to stay away from. Also wondering what some of these add-ons will cost, some of you have the great hook-ups, especially those of you down south. I'm up here in the Seattle area so any info would be greatly appreciated. Also to those of you who modified the actual engine, is there a big difference? She seems pretty quick already, I can't imagine her being any faster, but the thought of it is tempting(of course the thought of more speeding tickets helps control this urge).

Obviously everyone has their own idea of the perfect Prowler, but here's what I have done and why:

MOPAR performance exhaust - $600-900 (depending on dealer, I payed $600)
- Richer sound, a little better performance.

MAC Motorsports air intake - $200 (see banner on this site's home page)
- better breathing, a little better performance.

Ceramic Front brake pads - $75
- MUCH CLEANER RIMS!!!! (this is a MUST)

Kenwood indash Widescreen TV/DVD player - $2500
- It's cool.

Mopar exhuast sounds great! Chrome shimmers look cool(radio and bumper) Zero Attitude dash bezels look cool. Get the mud flaps they help. Everyone says get ceramic brake pads, I do not have them because I never drive it!

Enjoy it!

I am not an expert but I think the tips on the Borla are carbon fibre. The Mopars look similar to the stock but are thicker and heavier looking, with a great sound.

Chrome is right about the MOPAR. It also has the Prowler cat logo etched on the outsides of each tip. Sound is great. Here is a comparison picture, if you want any closer pix, let me know.

I have not heard the Mopar Borla vs the Borla. I have read posts that contend that the only difference is the Tips. I think Mike K has both. Matbe he could give his opinion as to the difference in sound. I get allot of comments on how great the Carbon Fiber Tips look. At most car shows and cruise nights gear heads always take notice that it is a Borla System. The Mopar may get the same reaction. For what its worth the Mopar system is more exspensive unless you can find a deal.
