Just heard from my DC grapevine that they will run more silvers after the current gold. And I heard that the end may be sooner than anticipated for the Prowler. The demand is literally at a stand still now. I sort of know what the final colors are, but If I mention it I will get some nasty emails again or scolded by you know who. I am disappointed in the final colors too, but I hope they change it. I think they will. If sales for the Prowler don't pick up, the end will be here soon that announced. |

Sasy, last week at the dealer he showed me the proposed colors for next year and it was gold and more silver and I think orange or blue. Gold was the only new color. It was the "official" bulletin with a paint chip of the gold. Did you look at the monthly numbers of sales posted by Laddie? Maybe it is only used cats that are lagging in sales or less interest between dealers buying from each other. |

Hey now, my vine suggested the last would be Candy Apple Red but from your post sassy, I don't think you would be aginst this color, would you? Well......I know they are suppose to have a meeting later this summer on the continuation of the Prowler. At this time they have more in stock than ever before. DC is not happy with sales....so far reaction to the gold has been very very very poor by the top dealers in the country. none of them want them. GET SOME BETTER COLORS!!!! They need some cool colors to beef up sales. |

I heard a vicious rumor that they were going to bring Purple back out for the very last run - but my contact didn't say when the last run was going to be - could be 1 or 2 more years, but I don't believe production will servive that long. I think the Candy Apple Red would be a great color, no matter if it is the next color or the last. I don't know if anyone else has noticed this or not, but about 6 month's to a year before DC comes out w/ a new color, Hot Wheels produces an odd color. Low and behold, DC comes out with it later. I've seen a Pearl Light Green HW car on eBay. 'Ya never know. How about a Pink Prowler, to follow suit w/ the pink panther days of old? On better thought - NOT. ------------------ |

Hey now CJ, I guess you think I owe you some kind of apology? NOT! All I can say is I'm sorry you took it that way. You sound like you think I meant that in a bad way or something. Post what you like, I do. All I was trying to say is everyone knows how you feel about privy info. Your privy and we are not so we just talk amongst ourselves. Heres my opinion on your feelings on this issue...... I think your rude to post stuff like you know what the new color is but can't tell. Fat Man I agree. I usually don't get involved in the differences of opinion that go on here but i think you arr right. CJ would be better off even if she knows something to keep it to herself rather than the "I KNOW SOMETHING YOU DON'T KNOW'attitude.I think that gets more folks annoyed than need be. Just my 2 cents. |

All I know now is there has been talk in Auburn Hills about the final color and what it should be should it be. Or maybe I should say, Idol talk on what it should be. Hey now Sassy, purple is the only color for me. Jerry- The best part about Todd's habit is HE DOESN"T INHALE! I happen to like the Cranberry color on tthe PT's. That's about the only color I do like on them. JMO

Hello All, This use to be a place where Kat owner's exchange their ideas and experiences so that everyone can benefit from them. But most recently on many posts including this one, many of you have lost your sense of purpose by making remarks about others that are less than kind. I find this bickering and exchange of insults distasteful! I am sure there are certain protocol concerning the disclosure of upcoming information from DC that must be kept confidential until it's revelation to the public. So, the "I know a secret, you don't know" syndrome some of you are claiming are totally misguided. Please do not take offense to this, but receive it in the helpful manner that it is intended.
