Sure - they start it at $40,000, but where's the reserve set? I'm sure it's probably below sticker - but I haven't seen one go for under around $43,000. I'm just jealous - paid $46,000 (sticker) for mine less than 2 months ago. Still paid a lot less than I would have last year. They were doing some big-time gouging in my area.

$43,494 dealer cost for Mulholland, $42,930 for Plymouth 2001 models minus maybe up to 3% dealer holdback. ------------------ This message has been edited by CA Phil on 06-08-2001 at 03:44 PM |

I was talking to a dealer today and they said that there is zero interest in the Prowler today compared to last summer and the summer before. He said he just can not believe it. A friend of ours that use to work for DC just got an orange one for a very very very good price, like around 40K and it was not used, brand spanking new. Makes me sick to see what I paid and the prices now. ------------------ This message has been edited by SasyMama on 06-08-2001 at 08:05 PM |

Sassy, I hear you..... I hate to see the price drop.. I will suck it up and will enjoy what I have... The best thing is that all the Prowler owners get along!!!! For the most part.......POA Thanks ------------------ |

Stopped in at Love Chrysler in Corpus Christi, TX on Sat, June 8, and they had a Muholland for $60K. Yes, some dealers still want to use the "adjusted market value" option on these cars. |

Well I paid $5000 over sticker in November 1999 for a 2000 Silver, and $46,000 (sticker) for a Mulholland this February. The dealership here still has a Black Tie...and has had it for 6 to 8 months and refuses to sell it at sticker or less. Is it like fine wine??? Increased value with age?? I think they are crazy and if it were my place, I'd have moved it a long time ago. No matter what though..I love driving the car each and every time I take it out of the garage. ------------------ |

A word, or maybe two words to all those inflated dealers out there....can you say "EBay"? Sure, I knew you could. Beware the consumer with knowledge, he'll find a just price somewhere. Meanwhile, let the inflated dealers keep paying GE Capital for the privelege. Makes lots of sense....yeah, right. ------------------ |
