Okay, okay, okay.......... The color in production right now is Prowler Orange Pearl Coat. They are moving to a short run of Prowler Silver Metallic Clear Coat to finish the 2001 model year production run. The customer preferred code guide for the 2002 Chrysler Prowler, published June, 2002, reflects that the following colors will be available: Prowler Silver Metallic Clear Coat (PSA) Prowler Orange Pearl Coat (PVF) and........................ Inca Gold Pearl Coat (PYJ) All of these will come with a Black top and Agate leather. ------------------ |

Well, looks like I will be saving lots of bucks next year...I have already had a silver and have an orange now(maybe my favorite of all)...so much for those colors...doubt the gold will grab me either...don't know how to do the archive stuff, but would be curious to know how many months ago I posted the INCA GOLD as the new color...it was long ago...I only hope their will be a couple of real sharp colors before the demise of the Kat....I must say, I am greatly disappointed at the 2002 model year color selection..... ------------------ |

I guess if DC has any extra black hoods or trunks lying around at least there could be another "SPECIAL EDITION", maybe the gold and black 2-tone could be the "SUNSET EDITION" ------------------ |

Just a question about the silver and the oranges - are they finally turning those into Chryslers so there will be some silver Plymouths and some silver Chryslers - same with orange? ------------------ |

Here's a yellow or gold shade PT I saw on 2000 Hot Rod Power tour June 2000. I took this pic at the Tunica, MS. stop. DC had six GT or PT concept cars on the tour including the blue panel cruiser & the GT cruiser. This was called the Pronto Cruiser (I think).

From what I understand they think that the Gold will be hottest color yet. You have to see it to appreciate it. I think it will be hotter than the current blue. Why you ask...You can see the car coming from 5 miles down the road. It hits you like a ton of bricks Sasy ------------------ This message has been edited by SasyMama on 06-04-2001 at 05:22 PM |
