I am 6' 4" and when I tried to sit in the prowler at the dealer I sat WAY too tall in it! I rocked the seat back, and still couldn't fit. I need a seat lowering kit like they make for Vipers. Anyone know of one? |

Alex-welcome, I'm 6-1, and clear the top by about 1 1/2 inches depending on my haircut with the seat all the back and down. Never heard about a lowering kit. ------------------ |

Alex, Are you sure you had the seat all the way down? It may sound stupid, but it took me over a year to figure out that the seat went down further than the height it was when I got it from the dealer. I needed to flip the seat back forward, then rock the seat bottom forwards then backwards, that lowered it. If you don't flip the seat back forwards, the seat bottom will just rock foward, and won't go down in the back. |

Look at my head on my banner! 6'2" 300 lbs. I fit. Not saying it's easy to get in when the top is up, but I have really come to enjoy driving my cat with the top up. Getting in it, now that's another question. Becoming a contoursionist is what it takes. I wouldn't trade a single time for the pleasure I get DRIVING. As someone here online says " LIVIN' XXXL in Texas!" ------------------ |

Hi I am 6'2" and 305lbs and have no problem either sitting or getting in and out with the top down, up takes a bit of work. Some of the looks you get when getting out of the car makes it worth the extra effort sometimes. Had the same problem with seat height and was lucky enough to find the adjustment during one of my weekly cleanings. Enjoy your new Prowler and it's great to own one in Canada where they are as rare as any car gets. |

BRIAN @ KIETH WELCOME these people are right you must play with the seat to get it just right i'am 6 ft 5 in tall and only 109 kg but i love my car and getting in with the top up is funI find that putting one foot in all the way first helps ( size 13 ) then just bend over and kiss your navel slowly as the top is hard when you run your head in to it!!!! i waited 2yrs for mine but it is worth it . livin xl bill shannon ------------------ |

Okay, guys, here's a suggestion. If you have to drive your cat with the top up, unhook the front of the top at the windshield, and fold it back part way. Get in the seat and pull it back over your head and latch it again!!!! Simple, huh? ------------------ |

Ok, so the consensus is that there are no mods to make these things more roomy. That is a shame. They make them for the Viper, why not for the Prowler? |
