Hello to all fellow Prowler Owners. Sorry for posting this here in discussions but I have reduced my price for the last time. I never knew about the Classified ads for about 4 months after I started reading these columns, so for whom are not aware of this I would like to ask if you are interested in purchasing a Prowler especially a RARE Black Tie here is the perfect opportunity with lots of extras $47,500 Adrian 305-992-4110

I would if I were you, hold on to your Black Tie. From what I understand there will not be any more limited so call editions such as the "Woodward" or "Black Tie" any more. I heard through the grape vine there may be a limited edition version marking the end of the production of the Prowler with limited special orders. I heard it may be purple again. When the end comes, and it will come sooner than you think, these will definitely go up in value. As a matter of fact some auto reporter is working on a story about the Prowler now and their value when this 'era' comes to an end. He predicts that the value will climb high on well taken care of and limited versions of the car.

PS Not to stir up some poop, this is only DC grapevine talk.

If this happens with the Prowler... I do believe it will be rather unique in automotive history. History so far has been, when something ceases production, it takes a long time before value increases... remember the Delorean? They made around 8800 of these, roughly and when production stopped, no one wanted them. Another good example are limited edition Harley's... the hot item this year is long forgotten by next years model... people always want and pay for the new thing, old used items become valuable because of nostalgia. It takes decades for nostalgia to bring $ value to used items, IF, I stress a VERY big if, that ever happens. If you want an investement, sell the car now and put the $ into something safe that really returns $. Good luck selling your car. In California... I don't think I can even get what I owe in payments on mine, and we have a very "hot" market for these relatively.

Just to add to that Todd,
selling any prestigious or high end luxury car these days is rough. I could of bought a few prowlers lately for a lot less that I could of imagined a year ago. I know a few dealers now really hurting and saying, "I can't believe I have these Prowler on my lot still". Mmmmm who knew.

Sassy, are you still selling your Black-Tie?

Bottom line is, it's still a car not an investment. Yes, at some point it may go up in value but, there is a glut of them out there now (new and used).

Only 62 Black-Tie's have been sold. I'm looking for a new one and have found several at $2-3-4K BELOW sticker to move it right now. Dealers that could never keep one in stock now have 3 or 4 Prowlers of various colors.

Hi
I would sell it, but I have a lot $$ into it now. Lots of expensive add-on about 4-5K now. I have a Mulholland I keep in upper Michigan. My Blk Tie is surgically clean and stored. What are you thinking of?

I thought you were selling yours to buy a Porsche or a Mullholland. Do you have two of them? http://www.prowleronline.com/ubb/Forum6/HTML/000187.html
