I noticed in the production stats that a black Chrysler Prowler has been made. Is black making a comeback. While there are more black produced than any other color, there still seems to be less black for sale than other colors. We should find out in a couple of weeks the colors available for 2002. Black?? Gold?? More Orange?? Candy Apple Red?? ------------------ |

The black Chrysler Prowler you are referring to Wayne, was built specially for a DC executive. It was not a pilot for another run of black. ------------------ |

Does that mean there will not be another run of black? Would they consider building a Candy Apple red for the wife of a DC exec? (or whatever other color you desire) ------------------ |

If they do, just curious as to what that costs. ------------------ Mods: 2001 Speed Yellow Porsche Cabriolet |

Hey CJ - I have a couple of JL Prowlers in a mint green - not the lime green but probably the closest we will see to green... ------------------ |

Trey, in answer to your questions.... I doubt that any production is stopped. All the painted parts are already painted by the time they get to the assembly plant. So, I would guess you just pick up a black body panel instead of blue! The rumor of the white ones has been around a long time, but we have never been able to confirm that. Never heard about one in gold. As far as the black being worth more......I have no idea. I guess ultimately it could be. ------------------ |

CJ, I too would love to see some of the old Mopar colors in limited quantities. I have no interest in a pink Prowler but I am sure there are those who would. I personally think the Prowler looks best in the dark colors but the bright colors can look very lively. Turquoise, Lime, Pink all in a row would look cool. ------------------ |
