I put my yellow 2000 in the garage last night after about a 150 mile ride and went out this morning and found I have no sound coming from the radio in any mode. All the lights come on and the counter works but no sound in radio or CD. I hit the mute button a few times and nothing helps. I also noticed the check engine light is stuck on. I read the manual and the only non invasive thing it listed was to retighten the fuel cap. I decided to leave it home and drove the orange car, but cant figure out what happened over night in the garage and if the 2 problems are related. Any advice? |

Sounds like a wire or two loose to me and a trip down dealer lane, hope you have a good one. ------------------ |

Found a fuse blown that controls the amp not the radio this explains why the radio had power but no sound, with this fuse blown I had no volume and the trunk wouldnt unlock. My check engine light is still on though.I had this same check engine problem on my black 2000 and it took 3 trips down dealer lane to find the problem, I hope they find this one faster!! |
