1, How long is to long to leave your top down? I mean is overnight ok? I am lazy!

2, Does anyone have what appears to be dust inside the headlamps?

3, Will I ever get over how much this car ROCKS. I just sent off for my custom plates. PNKRCK for punk rock. I know this may frighten some of you but its not about spiked hair and clothes. It is an attitude of... oh well. Please help with 1 and 2.

Thanks

1. Don't worry about leaving the top in the down and trunked position. Just always be sure to strap it down so it doesn't vibrate and bounce against the mechanicals and pins back there ... over night, for the weekend ... for the week ... should NOT be a problem.

2. Dust in the Headlights ... sounds like a C&W song ... have it too ... only notice it at night when the headlights are on ... here's a easy cure .... don't look at them! Seriously, you will drive yourself batty trying to rid yourself of this and will alienate yourself from your dealer if you pish for replacement after replacement to find ones that don't have it.

3. Plate sounds cool ... mine reads: WILD HUH and, no ... no spiked hair or nose ring hear either,

Chrome,

I leave my (wait a minute) the convertible top down on the cat for extended periods of time and have never had a problem. Just make sure that you always strap it down securely!

The bigger issue is... do you really want all that dust inside the driver / passenger area of your car from leaving the top down for an extended time? Gary C tells me he left his top down for a couple of weeks at WoodWard last year and had a nice little "dent" where it folded over that took forever to come out. Keep that in mind too.

When I leave the top down on the cat for an extended period of time and it is parked in the garage, I still put the car cover on (without putting the top up) to keep the dust out. No problem!!!

I leave the top down most of the summer and I haven't had a problem with any dents.........go figure!
