Paul, thanks for helping everyone on this deal. It is the best detector I have used (including V1). I have been using my 8500 for a month now and I am completely satisfied with its performance and looks. The lowest I have seen it is $278.00 I will recommend it to anyone looking for the best detector at any price. (wao it sounded like a commercial). Just ordered mine - the lady that took the ordered asked where I heard about the deal and I told her prowleronline.com and she said - "I went there and didn't see it" - I told her it was under Discussion Groups and General Discussion area... she said "Interesting for us" - wonder what that means? ------------------ |

Got mine delivered this morning. Don't forget to fill out warranty card....Passport is great about warranty work..Your cord will go bad in about six months...they will replace it....Have had many Passport detectors and only the cords have been problems. ------------------ |
