Is it me or does anyone else think that the top on their Kat is a bit difficult. I do it just as the manual describes but when raising it from the "trunk" it is always kinda caught on itself. I can bring the front all the way to the windsheild but the back seems to be stuck on itself, the glass is all the way up to the headrests but is difficult to get in position to lock into place.(folding it down) Is there a trick?, or am I just challenged. Thanks

I don't find my top difficult. I lift the entire top folded, forward to the windshield. The top will to some extent naturally unfold itself but not entirely. I do nothing with the front latches this point. I fold the rear of the top back to the lid and firmly latch the top pins into the deck holes. Then from inside the car I place and secure the front latches. You have to pull down on the top front brace some to do this. To the lower the top I release the front first before I unlatch the rear.

I do the same thing, but some times the window seems to be caught underneath the top's frame.

Sounds to me like your tops are out of adjustment somehow, that ( I do not think) should be happening. None of mine do that and I have not heard of another's (yet) that does.
