The dash top is metal, not material. I just keep that part dusted with a California Duster. On the interior I use LEXOL products. For the dash and door panels I use LEXOL VINYLEX which cleans, shines and protects. It has DH60 sunscreen to protect against cracking and fading.

I bought the carpeted dash pad from Dash-Glove that Larry recommended. I bought a black one for my Silver '00. Nice material and an excellent fit. Cuts down on glare too.
Highly recommended. jc.

Dashglove in Rialto California makes an excellent dash cover.
Wally used my car as a template car and even made three separate trips to my shop for the fittings. Al Becker in Scottsdale Arizona (where it gets VERY HOT) was the first guy to buy a cover from Wally at Dashglove almost 2 years ago and is still very happy with his purchase. I also still have my original dash cover and HIGHLY reccommend it for all Prowler owners. It really cuts down the glare and also lowers the temperatures in the dash area of the car. They are made of marine quality carpet and fit perfectly.
The cost was about $45.00
Call Dashglove's owner Wally at 909-873-4965 to order or for more information.

I really suggest you get a product called Protect All. I use this on every surface of the car, protects and shines everything without any damage at ALL. Contact info is here http://www.prowleronline.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/001384.html
