Just saw a "for sale" in the local paper that states 1997 Prowler Vin #001 is for sale. Could this be true???? If anyone has an interest I could post all the information. They want $49,000.

Would this be the same one that went thru the Auburn auction at $142K a few years ago...remember seeing it, and it was supposed to be the first production Prowler....don't remember who bought it or where it went now....to long ago

I supposedly met the guy during my trip to Florida. In construction. He said he paid $142,000; I think. I remember it being slightly over $100,000 over sticker. I met this guy at a gas station in Tallahassee. (SP) He sounded like he was serious.

A guy in Southern CA bought the first one SOLD. The guy in Southern CA does meet with us occasionally so we know him. He has documentation of this. I would think the first one made was some kind of demo???

I was told, first one was auctioned off, and next 10 cats went to Calif. to be sold.

I believe the $140,000 price to be correct.

Bill Luke Dodge/C/P in Phx, claims it has #9 sitting in showroom, always roped off?
