I thought I would share my birthday present (really on Tues.) with all you fine art conisoirs. This is a wrought iron piece made by an artist named Barrett DeBusk. I saw a piece of is work when my wife and I were on vacation in Hawaii. It was not of a Prowler but another car. Don't remember what it was. I asked the gal in the store if the artist made other models and she said he would. I told my wife, "Boy that would make a great birthday present for me." Never mind that I gave the salesperson my wifes work number and told her to call closer to my birthday. He sent a certificate with it that said number 1 of 100. So my assumtion is that he made 100 of them. Now I really would be ashamed to tell you what my wife paid for it. It is art you know. But I thought if anyone else was interested I could see if I could get a phone number for him. The wife said the store in Hawaii would not let her talk to the artist directly but I would not be surprised if he were to have his own web site. Thought it was really cool. Now has a prominent place in our home. My wife even let me put it in the main part of the house. I was shocked.  ------------------ |

Suggestion...not to tamper with artwork, but how about a swatch of color behind the work....not a paint by number type situation, but just a broad brush of color to match your own Prowler ...I think it would really bring it to life.... ------------------ |

It usually takes 4-6 weeks for the artist to build each piece, so do not wait to long! By the way, they are also available in larger sizes! mattman |

Just got some info the other day on this item and learnd it come's in a few sizes. Can you tell what size is pictured? And email me what you paid just to make sure what they quoted me.
