It seems like every time I go to a restaurant with valet
service, the attendant seems to know that I rather park the car myself and directs me to park right in front and away from everyone else. He doesn't even bother to ask for the keys, does he not want the responsibility?......or maybe
he just want a big tip. Any fellow owners out there experience the same circumstance?

With a vehicle as immaculate as ours, valets usually know not to mess around, or even touch the vehicle.

In my experience it depends on the place... usually I have to ask to park them, but other idiots insit they have to, so I go elsewhere.

I park it myself, but give the kid a good tip, so he understands its personal, not economic.

My wife and I went to a Four Seasons Hotel recently for lunch and the valet took one look at us approaching and pointed to a spot right in front of the hotel and next to a new Bentley. The valet then came over and stated that they don't want to even get close to one of these and they definitely don't want to be responsible for it! Naturally, it took us 25 minutes to get inside the hotel as everyone waiting for their cars out front came over to see the car...NOT THE BENTLEY! The valet still ended up with a really nice tip!

I had a fake chrysler key made to keep in the car. Anytime I park for dinner I park up front give the guy some bucks...when he asks for the key I give him the fake one...Works great.

Hmmmmm....guess I just don't go to the right places, Ronald Mcdonald has never asked to park my Kat or asked for the key....usually 3 or 4 or the servers stick their heads out the window and yell "KOOL KAR"

I go to Treasure Bay Casino every Friday and Saturday when I take the Prowler the valet lets me park the prowler under the building where people drop off their car and if they feel like their is to many people around the car they will park it at the dock so nobody can look at it. They tell me this is where they put this can of car they usually have Lamborghini, Bentley, and Jaguar there. An the Prowler gets the most looks then the other it also makes the valet the most nerves.
