CJ must be after another shirt, hat or frame ... lol Chicago the span is $1.93 - $2.29 (city) for premium. Think the cars just may sit this summer and the Harley will get all the attention! Pay as much as $2.50 at times here in the San Francisco Bay Area. It's funny we are right next the refineries in Richmond but our prices are one of the highest. Big wigs are always accusing the oil companies of fraud about the prices here. They say they keep them high here to try curb excess use. Go figure. But it's the price I'm willing to pay to keep this car running good, and ahead of all the others.. ------------------ |

In Central IL, the range is $1.84 to $1.95 for premium. I was in eastern Iowa this past week, and they were about 12 cents less on average at $1.72 to $1.80 for the same premium gas brands (IL has a higher tax rate - the state legislature voted to cut the 5% "road tax" on gas during next year's state budget - in about 18 monthes...) ------------------ |

Bill Shannon, as bad as things are in the land of the oil and gas reserves, it is not quite as bad as your post. 88 cents per litre is equivalent to $2.16 US dollars per US gallon. No bargain but it won't keep me from cruisin ------------------ |

Wayne, One gallon is equal to 3.785 liters. That equates to $3.33 a gallon. Sorry to correct you and am not trying to show you up. |

Phoenix Metro area - prem fuel, $1.73 to $1.97 per gal.
Noticed last night, while driving a steady 63 MPH, the computer readout said I was getting 27.8 MPG - That new cold air intake system from Bill Gallagher is paying big dividends!!! ------------------ |
